The key points at a glance
- A yearly subscription paid by transfer, starting from the date the payment is accepted.
- Your center’s data is yours: isolated from others, never seen by the MADAD team, and exportable whenever you like.
- Approved medical documentation is never edited or deleted; corrections are made by addendum.
- Nothing is deleted when a subscription ends; the account is locked until renewal. Free-trial data is deleted if the center doesn’t subscribe within seven days after the trial ends.
- No patient data ever reaches advertisers.
Definitions
The following words have the meanings shown wherever they appear in these terms:
- “MADAD” or “the Platform”: the MADAD management system for medical centers and clinics, its website and services, and the entity that operates it.
- “Center”: the medical center or clinic subscribed to MADAD, which may include one or more clinics in different specialties.
- “Center manager”: the holder of the center’s account and the person responsible for it towards MADAD, who may also be a doctor.
- “User”: anyone with a login account, whether manager, doctor, reception staff or advertiser.
- “Patient”: a person whose details the center records and who receives care there; patients have no MADAD account.
- “Advertiser”: a company accepted on MADAD to show its ads to subscribing centers.
- “Plan”: a subscription package with its limits and features, as shown on the pricing page.
Accepting these terms
Registering a center or an advertiser, or using the Platform, constitutes acceptance of these terms and of the Privacy Policy. Accepting them is required to complete registration, and each account keeps a record of the version it accepted and the date of acceptance.
Whoever registers a center confirms that they are authorized to act on its behalf and that the information they provide is accurate and complete.
Accounts and users
- The center manager creates accounts for doctors and reception staff; every user has their own login and password, which must not be shared.
- The center manager is responsible for everything done through the center’s accounts, and for promptly deactivating the account of any user who leaves.
- The MADAD team must be told immediately of any suspected unauthorized use of an account.
Subscription, plans and limits
Subscriptions are yearly, and plans differ in the number of doctors, the number of patient records and some features, as shown on the pricing page at the time of subscribing.
- The patient limit is the total number of patient records at the center; it is cumulative and does not reset on renewal.
- The doctor limit covers active doctors, including a center manager who is also a doctor. Reception staff are unlimited.
- When a limit is reached, everything already recorded stays fully available, and new items can only be added by upgrading.
- Upgrading is available at any time; downgrading requires usage to be within the lower plan’s limits.
- MADAD may change plan prices and features in future, without affecting a paid subscription until the end of its term.
Free trial
Each center is entitled to one free trial of 7 days, with one doctor, up to 10 patients and selected features. If the center pays during it, the trial ends and the subscription term starts from the date the payment is accepted. If the center doesn’t pay, the trial simply ends with no financial obligation.
If the center doesn’t subscribe within 7 days after the trial ends, all data and files entered during it (patients, appointments, documentation, invoices, images and recordings) are deleted automatically and permanently and can’t be recovered. This deletion applies to the free trial only; nothing is deleted when a paid subscription ends.
Payment, renewal and account lock
- The subscription is paid by transfer via CliQ, an e-wallet or a bank transfer; the payment receipt is then uploaded from the center’s dashboard, and the subscription is activated after review.
- Prices are in Jordanian dinars and include sales tax of 0%.
- The subscription term starts from the date the payment is accepted, and early renewals are added to the end of the current term.
- When the term ends, the account is locked: doctors and reception can’t sign in, while the manager can still pay and export data. Nothing is deleted because of expiry.
- If a renewal payment was sent before expiry and is still under review, the account stays open until it is decided.
- Amounts paid for a term that has started are non-refundable, except that a rejected payment is returned to the payer.
Cost & fee distribution calculator
The platform offers an optional tool, off by default, called the “cost & fee distribution calculator — internal use”, intended only to help users organise their internal accounts:
- The tool makes no money transfer through the platform, imposes no percentage and recommends none.
- All inputs (estimated deduction percentage, fixed amount) are entered by the user alone.
- Its reports are internal reports and are not tax invoices or contractual documents under the Jordanian e-invoicing system.
- The platform is not responsible for any external arrangements between the user and work sites.
- Turning the tool on requires explicit consent, recorded with its time, date, user ID and IP address.
The center’s responsibilities
- The center is responsible for the accuracy of its patients’, visits’ and invoices’ data, and for the medical care it provides; MADAD is an organizational tool and gives no medical opinion.
- The center complies with the laws in force in Jordan, including those governing the medical professions, medical records, personal data protection and tax invoicing.
- The center ensures that anyone it gives the “doctor” role is licensed to practice.
- The center issues its own tax invoices through the national e-invoicing system; MADAD only provides a direct link to it.
The medical record and its integrity
- Each patient’s medical record is shared within the center; the center’s doctors and manager can view it for continuity of care, and every opening of the record is logged.
- Every approved note is stamped with its author and time and is never edited or deleted; any correction is added as a separate addendum below it.
- Drafts are approved automatically when the visit ends or at the end of the day.
Permissions
The center manager sets each doctor’s and staff member’s permissions and is responsible for what they grant. Reception staff can never be given access to medical content.
Acceptable use
Users must not:
- use the Platform for any purpose that breaks the law or professional ethics;
- try to access another center’s data, disrupt the Platform, or probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission;
- harvest users’ or doctors’ data from the Platform or the doctors directory for marketing purposes;
- upload harmful or misleading content, or content that infringes others’ rights.
Doctors’ forum rules
- The forum is open to doctors and managers of subscribing centers as long as the center’s account is active.
- Posting anything that identifies a patient — a name, photo, number or details revealing their identity — is prohibited.
- Members must remain professional, and direct commercial advertising in posts is prohibited.
- Any content reported by three different users is hidden pending review, and the MADAD team may remove violations and suspend the author.
Doctors’ Bazaar — Buy & Sell, and disclaimer
- The center manager lists products in the Bazaar; listings go live after review by the MADAD team for 30 days and can be renewed.
- Any deal is made directly between the seller and the other party; MADAD is not a party to it and does not guarantee the products, their condition or their conformity.
- Listing medicines or free drug samples, controlled substances, used single-use supplies, or any product whose sale requires a license the seller does not hold is prohibited.
- A center’s listings disappear from the Bazaar while its account is locked, and return on renewal.
Advertising and advertiser terms
- Advertisers are accepted after their details are reviewed; no ad is published without the MADAD team’s approval, and any change to a live ad is reviewed again.
- Advertisers are responsible for their ads being accurate and lawful, including the rules governing the advertising of medical products and devices.
- Advertisers never receive any patient or clinic data; any contact with an advertiser happens directly, at the clinic’s own initiative.
- Ads never appear in the patient record, documentation, printouts or settings, and the MADAD team may remove any violating ad or suspend the advertiser’s account.
Doctors directory
Doctors at subscribing centers appear in the public the doctors directory with their photo, name, specialty, clinic, governorate and personal phone number, unless the doctor or the center manager turns this off at any time. The directory does not offer booking, and MADAD does not guarantee a doctor’s availability or the quality of their service.
Intellectual property
The Platform, its design, logo, text and software belong to MADAD. The center’s data and content remain the center’s property, and the center grants MADAD only the permission needed to store and process them in order to provide the service.
Privacy and data protection
Data is processed in line with the Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023. Each center’s data is isolated from every other, and the MADAD team has no access to any center’s patients, visits, invoices or reports — its access is limited to managing subscriptions and reviewing public community content.
Suspension and termination
- MADAD may suspend any account that breaches these terms or puts the Platform or its users at risk, informing the account holder of the reason.
- The manager of a suspended account can still export the center’s data.
- When an account is closed permanently at the center’s request, the data is kept for the legally required retention period and then securely deleted.
Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided with every reasonable effort to keep it available and its data safe, without a guarantee that it will be entirely free of faults. MADAD is not responsible for medical or financial decisions made by the center, nor for indirect damages. In all cases, MADAD’s liability does not exceed what the center paid for the current subscription.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms; every change carries a new version number and date at the top of this page. We notify center managers of material changes within the Platform before they take effect, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
